Our first egg was layed this morning after getting chickens a few days ago. We have a black and brown one. Temperarily named Sally and Brownie. They are Silkies, and they are super sweet. Of Course they are scared silly of my kids!!!!!!!!!!!

Chickens are so fun and super LOW maintenance. My kids love ours -- we have 7! = )
I have to laugh, Heather. We just moved out of a ward where I swear everyone but us had chickens! I'd go to a playdate with Claire and the kids would sit around and play with the chicks. Yea for fresh eggs eventually! Hope you are all doing well:-)
