Meg Shell

Here is our smiley little girl. She loves to talk to everyone. She has the most adorable dimples. One on each side. She likes to stick her tongue out all the time too. What a doll!

4 Things to do with Rubber Gloves

What do you do on Sunday Afternoons? The Mower's, we find fun ways to use Rob's gloves from work. Here are a few to share! The Muir's came over and this is how my kids entertained them!

Old House, New House

Many of you have asked about the new house. It is a work in progress. We have a five year plan. Basically we will have it completely finished in five years. Right now we are working on the roads coming in to the property, and making a second road to access Hillcrest, which is another way into town. The plans are being drawn up for grading. Grading plans alone we found out will take up to a year. Yikes! After that we can focus on working with the architect and building. We are planning to leave a couple walls up, but that is about it. Nothing about this little house will be the same. The front yard will become the backyard. We have a gorgeous view from the front of the house and Heather wants her backyard with pool there. We hope to start construction on the house in about two and a half years. That is it in a nutshell. The new house is about 1300 square feet. We are very cozy here, getting used to tight quarters, but it won't be forever. We miss our old house and friends next door! It just takes a little more planning to see our friends now! We are up for this exciting adventure in our life. We just started looking for renters for our other home. Not ready to sell right now. Who knows, Heather might just want to move back (by herself!) Just Kidding!

Our Kids

I took the kids out for pictures one afternoon. It was quite the experience. Here are a couple (out of a hundred or so) that actually turned out. I need to take a class to learn how to use this camera!

Maniac Jacob

Here's the maniac!

Summer Fun

At Ashley Kings Birthday Party. The kids loved the water slide they rented. Check out the video for maniac Jacob!

LDS Prom

Rob and I got to chaperone the LDS Prom on May 9th. How much fun it was. We all dressed up as famous people. Rob went as Jack Sparrow without the rum. Heather was Cruella DeVil with her little dalmation (Megan). She had to find a costume for both of them since Megan can't leave her side for very long. We had a large group from Castaic dress up. Everything from the Incredibles to Elvis to Richard Simmons.

Ethan Crashes

Well, he did crash, this time with the Cheetos. What a funny kid. He go, go, goes until he crashes. Good thing he didn't choke! We told him it was time to take a break and have a snack, and 5 minutes later he was out! Notice the one in his neck!

Summer Swimming

We took advantage of the warm weather and went swimming. It was Megan's first pool experience! I don't think she minded it much!

May 9, 2008

We bought him training wheels last week. He asked Rob to take them off on Saturday. So Rob took them off for him. He turned around to put his tools away and this is what he saw! Can you believe it! He is a maniac! He stands up, skids, and is going off jumps (the curb on our driveway)!
