Kava

A Fijian tradition is the drinking of Kava, made from Taro Root. I hear it tastes like dirty sock water, but all the men had to do it. It brings good luck. You start by clapping once, drinking the kava in one drink, then three claps to finish. I didn't partake, didn't sound too appetizing to me before dinner, but was fun to watch everyone else doing it!

Last Game of the Season

Jacob made some great plays for the last game of the season. It was the first playoff game, but they lost, so it was a sad end to the season. Jacob mad a few great tackles, saving touchdowns, had a fumble recovery, and assisted in many other tackles. He just can't wait to play next year, and neither can we!!!!!!

Halloween 2009

We have Indiana Jones, a Ninja, a Pirate Princess, and a Bumble Bee. Jordan is missing since he went to Universal Studios for Fright Fest. He dressed up as a chick magnet the night before for the Trunk or Treat!

Trick or Treating!

Okay, she was hilarious!!! She would walk in people's houses, grab their candy, then stick it in her honey pot! She even found a bee family she could belong too! She was so comfortable at their house, she found an empty chair and plopped herself in it and didn't want to leave! Too bad the picture was blurry !

Garrett Martinez had to be taken away after hurting his back.

Nice try stopping this guy! They both barely missed tackling him. Luckily there was a flag on the play, and there was no touchdown!
