GNO!!!!

While the boys were off at scout camp, the girls had some fun too! Taylor invited a few friends over for a girls night. My friend Michelle came over and helped me do pedi's and mani's, we did paper towel curls, watched Freaky Friday, made pizza, had ice cream and cake, and had a blast!

Jacob is 11!

We surprised Jacob with a few things for his birthday. He didn't think much was going to happen, but he was soon shocked to find out his first surprise of the day was a cell phone! He was so happy since he thought he was going to have to wait til he went into high school to get one! A couple hours later, he was surprised again to find out his two best friends, one of which had moved to Huntington Beach, were at our house.......ready to go to Hurricane Harbor. I got a babysitter for the kids, and took the boys all by myself. It was great because they are old enough to go off by themselves, and I got a nap in, read a book, and relaxed. Later that evening we went to Jacob's favorite restaurant, Yamato's, and had a wonderful steak and shrimp dinner Teppan style! The boys thought it would be exciting to sleep outside on the jungle gym, so Rob put a tarp over the top, we draped it with sheets, and they put all their sleeping bags up there. They were a little worried about coyotes and bobcats, so they loaded up their airsoft guns for battle, just in case. The fun only lasted a couple hours when Jacob texted me that they had all taken off in search of coyotes. When I told them they had to come in, they were all relieved......they would never admit it, but they were all scared!

Hawaii Day 1

What can I say? MAUI! We were all so excited to be in Hawaii! We stayed in Townhomes across the street from the Grand Wailea, and had access to all of the facilities at the Wailea! There was a lazy river, tarzan swing, the beach, waterslides, a water elevator, and pool after pool after pool. It was a much needed vacation, and many fun memories made!
