Taylor's Baptism!

We had such a special Valentines Day! My little Taylor was baptized and confirmed by her daddy! We were surrounded by family and friends, and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Jordan played I am a child of God on the Guitar, Jacob gave the spotlight on Taylor, Rob baptized her, Aunt Heidi gave the opening prayer, and Mom gave the closing prayer. We came home after the baptism to Stonefire and wonderful cupcakes! We then celebrated Megan's 1st birthday! She wasn't so sure about the cake, and ate it like a princess! We are so proud of Taylor and her decision to be baptized!

OUR NEW DRIVER!

Can you believe Jordan is driving. He got his license a couple weeks ago, and after much searching, we found a car. A little more car than we had hoped for, but how fun for him! (Oh, Rob too) I can't help but think Rob kind of wanted this car for him too! He is gearing up for his first outing in it! Our family will be exercising prayer much more now! LOL!

Taylor is Eight!!!!

Can you believe my little girl is eight! She will be baptized next month so we are looking forward to that. She had a little birthday party last night. We had 10 of her friends over and had a dog party. Yes, dog. We saw Hotel for Dogs, at the theater, ate hot dogs, and then had pup-cakes! (She came up with that!) We made little bulldog necklaces for the girls, who all wore them to the movie, and we had the most adorable pup-cakes ever. Each of them had the girls names on them. They were definitely a hit! I was sick with the flu yesterday, so needless to say, my kids got ignored all day long. I heard Ethan playing around, and counting. I asked him what he was doing, since he was the only one home and Megan was sleeping. He said, I am playing hide and seek! I asked, who with? He replied, Lucky (our dog). I asked him where lucky was, and he said, he is counting. By then I said, WHERE DID YOU PUT LUCKY!!!??? He proceeded over to the closet, where lucky was hiding and counting. I couldn't help but take a picture. He is such a good boy to play all day with Lucky!

December 8th was Ethan's birthday. We actually celebrated it at Disneyland, but we had to do the whole candle thing. We started our morning out with Allison and Natey at the donut shop. Ethan wanted a donut for his birthday, so that is where we went! Later that day, he said where is my cake? I didn't have any cake, so we made Rootbeer floats, and I made him a sundae for his candles. Pretty bad I know. He loved it though. Rob and I got this Harley Santa from a gift exchange the night before, and when he woke up that morning, he asked me if that was his Happy Birthday Present. Of course I said yes, and he carried it around with him the whole day.

Taylor had her dance recital at Hart High this past weekend. They did the cutest little song from Nightmare before Christmas. Her and Aliza were the best of course! All Taylors cousins came to see her. It is so funny because they all look up to her so much, and Taylor is so sweet to them! I think she is a little flattered!

Disneyland!

Here are some pics of our recent trip to Disneyland! We had a blast and it wasn't even very crowded, which was the best part. We went to celebrate Ethan's 4th birthday, which is on the 8th. His favorite ride was Space Mountain and Matterhorn! I couldn't believe it! He was scared of Pirates though, cuz dad told him there were alligators in the water! Nice job dad! He warmed up to the ride on day 2 of Disneyland. Jordan stayed home for an anatomy lab, we missed him so much! I still can't believe he would have rather gone to school than Disneyland!
